Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using any part of FitMyCV (fitmycv.site), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and FitMyCV.
If you are using FitMyCV on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We'll notify active users of material changes by email.
Account registration & eligibility
To use FitMyCV, you must be at least 16 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password or allow others to access your account. FitMyCV is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access.
One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits, circumvent suspensions, or abuse any feature is prohibited and will result in termination of all associated accounts.
You agree to provide accurate information when registering. Accounts created with false information may be suspended without notice.
Data Portability & Export limits. To protect platform infrastructure and prevent system abuse, users may export a compiled JSON file of their personal account data once per calendar month.
Credit system & pricing
FitMyCV uses a credit-based system. Credits are the currency of the platform - you spend them when you use AI features, and you can buy more at any time.
Free credits on signup
Every new account receives 30 free credits upon registration. No purchase required, no credit card needed. These credits are available immediately and never expire.
Credit costs per action
Credit rules
- Credits never expire - purchased credits remain in your account indefinitely.
- Credits are non-transferable - they cannot be moved between accounts.
- Credits have no cash value - they cannot be exchanged for money.
- FitMyCV reserves the right to adjust credit costs with 14 days' notice to active users.
- If your credit balance reaches zero, AI features will be unavailable until you purchase more or earn credits via referral.
Referral program
FitMyCV offers a referral program that lets you earn credits by inviting others to the platform. This is separate from the Creator & Ambassador Program, which pays cash commission to approved creators. Here's exactly how the user referral program works:
Program rules
- Each account has one unique referral link that can be shared with unlimited people.
- Maximum lifetime referral reward: 50 referral events per account. This limit exists to prevent abuse.
- Referral rewards are credits only - they have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
Using your own referral link to create a second account or coordinating with others to generate fake referrals is a violation of these terms. Accounts found doing this will be suspended immediately and all referral credits forfeited.
FitMyCV reserves the right to revoke referral rewards, adjust program terms, or suspend the referral program entirely if abuse is detected or at our discretion with reasonable notice.
Creator & ambassador program
The FitMyCV Creator & Ambassador Program ("Creator Program") allows approved content creators and educators to earn cash commission by referring job seekers to FitMyCV. By applying to or participating in the Creator Program, you agree to these terms in addition to all other terms on this page.
Eligibility and approval
- You must apply through the official ambassador page and provide accurate contact and social profile information.
- Approval is manual and at FitMyCV's sole discretion. We may reject or revoke creator status without obligation to provide a reason.
- Creator accounts are personal and non-transferable. You must be at least 14 years old. FitMyCV assigns each approved creator a payout currency (INR or USD) at approval; you must be able to receive payments in that currency through the payout methods we support.
Attribution and commission window
Attribution occurs when a new user signs up through your tracking link (?ref=yourcode) or equivalent creator code, subject to a 60-day attribution cookie. You earn commission only on users whose FitMyCV accounts are attributed to you at signup.
Commission applies to each qualifying credit purchase made within 60 days of that referred user's account creation - not just the first purchase. If a referred user buys credits three times within the window, you receive commission on all three transactions (at your assigned rate).
If multiple creators could claim the same user, FitMyCV's attribution records are final. We do not guarantee commission for signups that cannot be reliably attributed.
Commission rate and calculation
- Commission rates start at 10% of the net credit purchase amount (after successful payment confirmation) and increase up to 20% based on your performance, referral volume, conversion rate, and content alignment.
- Commission applies to qualifying credit purchases in INR or USD. Your earnings are tracked in your assigned payout currency (INR or USD). If a referred user pays in a different currency, the purchase amount is converted at a fixed rate of 1 USD = 85 INR before commission is calculated.
- Commission rate adjustments are based on ongoing review and performance milestones, and are not automatically applied unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Commission is calculated on the amount actually paid by the referred user for credit packs, excluding refunds, chargebacks, or failed payments.
- If a purchase is refunded or charged back, FitMyCV may reverse or claw back the corresponding commission from your pending or future earnings.
Commission rate adjustment
FitMyCV may increase or decrease a creator's commission rate at any time, typically based on referral quality and performance metrics. We will provide written notice (via email or dashboard notification) prior to any rate decrease. Adjusted rates apply only to transactions occurring after the notice period and are not applied retroactively.
Inactive accounts
Creator accounts with zero referral signups or credited sales for 180 consecutive days may be marked as inactive. Once inactive, the account's unique creator link and tracking will cease to credit commission. Inactive creators must contact support or re-apply to reactivate their account.
No user discounts or coupons
FitMyCV does not offer creator-specific coupons, checkout discounts, promotional pricing, or payment incentives for referred users. Credit pack prices are fixed platform-wide. Your creator code and tracking link exist solely to attribute signups and purchases. You must not advertise discounts, "special prices," fake urgency, or checkout coupons that do not exist.
Content guidelines and branding
- Creators must not make guaranteed income claims, promise job placements, or fabricate screenshots of earnings using FitMyCV.
- You must not present yourself as an employee, founder, or official spokesperson of FitMyCV. All promotions must clearly state your relationship as an independent affiliate partner.
Payouts
- INR creators: you may request a withdrawal once your pending commission balance reaches ₹500 (five hundred Indian rupees). Payouts are sent via UPI or Indian bank transfer using the details you provide.
- USD creators: you may request a withdrawal once your pending commission balance reaches $50 (fifty US dollars). Payouts are sent via PayPal or international bank transfer (SWIFT) using the details you provide.
- You must provide accurate payout details for your assigned currency. FitMyCV is not responsible for payouts sent to incorrect details you supplied.
- Payout requests are reviewed manually. INR UPI transfers are typically processed within 24 hours; INR bank transfers may take 3–5 business days. USD payouts via PayPal or SWIFT may take 6–7 business days. FitMyCV may delay or deny payouts while investigating suspected fraud.
Prohibited creator conduct
- Self-referral or creating accounts to purchase credits through your own link.
- Fake, incentivized, or bot-generated clicks, signups, or purchases.
- Cookie stuffing, link hijacking, or misleading attribution practices.
- Misrepresenting FitMyCV features, guarantees, pricing, or outcomes (including promising job offers or ATS guarantees we do not make).
- Spam, harassment, illegal content, or promotion on platforms or in ways that violate those platforms' rules.
- Impersonating FitMyCV employees, founders, or official accounts.
Forfeiture on ban
If a creator account is suspended or terminated for violating these Terms of Service (including self-referral, fake traffic, cookie stuffing, or misleading advertisements), all accumulated, unpaid, and pending commissions in the account will be permanently forfeited and cannot be claimed, appealed, or transferred.
Program discontinuation
FitMyCV reserves the right to discontinue the Creator Program in its entirety at any time by giving 30 days' email notice to active creators. If the program is discontinued, all outstanding eligible commissions earned up to the discontinuation date will be honored and paid out within 60 days.
Tax compliance and reporting
As an independent affiliate contractor, you are solely responsible for all tax registration, reporting, and payments arising from your commission income in your jurisdiction. For INR payouts to creators in India, FitMyCV may deduct Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) in accordance with applicable Indian tax laws. For USD payouts, you are responsible for any taxes, withholding, or reporting obligations in your country of residence.
Data handling and retention
Creator account data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For legal, audit, and tax compliance purposes, FitMyCV may retain creator contact details, payment information, and social media links for up to 12 months after account closure.
Account control and program changes
FitMyCV retains full discretion over the Creator Program. We may suspend or terminate creator accounts, withhold or forfeit unpaid commissions, adjust commission rates, or modify program rules with reasonable notice where practicable. Creators participate as independent contractors - not employees, partners, or agents of FitMyCV.

Acceptable use
FitMyCV is a tool for legitimate job seekers. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
The following are prohibited:
- Creating resumes that fabricate employment history, qualifications, certifications, or credentials you do not hold. FitMyCV is for presenting your real experience more effectively not for inventing it.
- Scraping, cloning, reverse-engineering, or attempting to extract the source code, algorithms, or data of the service.
- Using automated bots, scripts, or tools to consume credits, analyze resumes at scale, or interact with the service in a non-human manner.
- Sharing your account credentials with other people. Each account is for one individual.
- Attempting to circumvent credit consumption - for example, by manipulating API requests, intercepting network traffic, or exploiting bugs to use AI features without spending credits.
- Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits or to evade a suspension.
- Uploading content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Participating in the Creator Program while violating the Creator Program terms - including advertising fake discounts, generating fraudulent referrals, or misrepresenting FitMyCV to your audience.
Violations of this section may result in immediate account suspension. Remaining credits are forfeited.
AI-generated content & disclaimer
FitMyCV's AI features generate resume content, cover letters, ATS scores, and bullet rewrites based on the input you provide. This output is a suggestion - not a guarantee.
AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, outdated phrasing, or suggestions that don't accurately reflect your experience. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI output before submitting it to employers, recruiters, or any third party.
What we do and don't claim
- You retain full ownership of your resume content. FitMyCV does not claim any rights over documents you create.
- FitMyCV does not guarantee that AI-tailored resumes will result in job interviews, callbacks, or employment offers.
- ATS scores are estimates based on common ATS patterns - different employers use different systems, and a high score does not guarantee your resume will pass every ATS.
- We are not responsible for hiring decisions made by employers, regardless of the content generated by our AI.
- AI output is generated by third-party providers (OpenAI / Anthropic) - see our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.
Payments
Credit packs are purchased as one-time payments. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewals, and no recurring charges.
All credit pack purchases are non-refundable. Once a payment is completed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. We encourage you to use the 30 free credits you receive on signup to evaluate the product before making any purchase.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Indian users are charged in INR; international users are charged in USD. The currency is geo-detected at the time of purchase. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service.
FitMyCV does not store your card details. All payment data is handled directly by Razorpay's secure infrastructure.
Intellectual property
Your content: You retain full ownership of all resume content, cover letters, and other documents you create using FitMyCV. By using the service, you grant FitMyCV a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your documents.
Our platform: FitMyCV's website, application code, design, templates, branding, and all associated intellectual property are owned by FitMyCV. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without explicit written permission.
Templates: Resume templates provided by FitMyCV are licensed for personal use within the platform. You may use them to create and export your own resumes. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the templates themselves.
Illustrative Data & Previews: All personal names, contact info, project details, and job descriptions displayed within template previews, thumbnails, or interactive simulators across the platform are dummy data used solely for illustrative and presentation purposes. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or real corporate entities is purely coincidental.
Account suspension & termination
Deleting your account
You can request account deletion at any time from the Settings page. Submitting a request schedules your account for deletion and initiates a 90-day grace period. During this 90-day grace period, you can cancel the request at any time from your settings to preserve your account. Once the 90-day grace period expires, the account is permanently closed, remaining credits are forfeited without refund, and all associated resumes, cover letters, and profile data are erased from our database within 90 days.
Suspension by FitMyCV
FitMyCV may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse the credit or referral system, violate Creator Program rules, or use the service in a way that harms other users or the platform.
Creator accounts may be terminated separately from regular user accounts. On creator termination, unpaid commissions may be forfeited if termination is due to program violations.
In cases of clear and serious violations (e.g. automated abuse, self-referral fraud, credential fabrication at scale), suspension may occur without prior warning. In less severe cases, we may issue a warning first.
On suspension or termination by FitMyCV: remaining credits are forfeited and documents are deleted within 30 days.
Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended in error, contact us at fitmycv.team@fitmycv.site within 14 days of the suspension. Include your account email and a description of the situation. We'll review and respond within 5 business days.
Disclaimer of warranties
FitMyCV is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind express or implied.
We do not warrant that:
- The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
- ATS scores will accurately predict how your resume performs in every applicant tracking system different employers use different ATS software with different rules.
- AI-tailored resumes will result in job interviews, offers, or any specific career outcome.
- The service will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FitMyCV disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FitMyCV's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid to FitMyCV in the 30 days immediately preceding the claim.
FitMyCV is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Missed job opportunities, failed applications, or rejection by employers.
- Hiring decisions made by employers based on resumes created using FitMyCV.
- Loss of data due to technical failures (though we take reasonable precautions to prevent this).
- Any career or financial outcomes resulting from use of the service.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought, and even if FitMyCV has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes changes that affect your rights or the credit system we will notify active users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Minor changes (clarifications, typo fixes, formatting) may be made without notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
Continuing to use FitMyCV after updated terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. If you disagree with a change, you may delete your account before the effective date.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of FitMyCV shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
